Course Description

Chamber Singers is an auditioned mixed choir open to junior and senior treble voices and sophomore, junior and senior bass voices.  Enrollment varies between 40 and 65 voices.  The choir performs at four concerts each year.  In addition, the choir performs for school functions such as Veteran’s Day and attends the WSMA large group contest festival.  Each member participates in the all school musical and is encouraged to participate in District and State Solo and Ensemble Contests.  Literature for performance is of an advanced nature and covers many different styles and languages.  ANY STUDENT REQUESTING THIS COURSE MUST AUDITION FOR THE DIRECTOR.  NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE WILL BE MADE.
