Course Description:
This class deals with the major political, social, economic and technological developments in US history since World War II. The goals of this course are to help students become citizens who are aware of the contributions, decisions and sacrifices of past individuals and groups to make our country what it is today. In this course, you will: read primary and secondary sources, work individually and in groups, write essays, take organized notes, and contribute to class discussions.
Course Objectives: This course seeks to develop students into citizens who can use their knowledge to help shape American society in the future. Students will, therefore, further develop the skills they need to gather, evaluate and record information, make decisions, predict outcomes and solve problems.
