Getting to Know Me...
I am very excited to continue to contribute to the success of students in the Reedsburg School District! Since joining the staff in 2001, I have had opportunities to teach at the high school, elementary, and middle school levels. Since 2004, I have been at Webb Middle School primarily teaching sixth grade students with disabilities. Before moving to Wisconsin, I also taught for seven years in Johnston, Iowa.
My Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities was earned from the University of Northern Iowa in 1994, and I obtained my Master's Degree in Education from Graceland University in 2008. In 2017, I earned my National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist - Early Childhood through Young Adulthood with an emphasis in Mild/Moderate Disabilities.
Each year, my students, with their unique needs, motivate me to continue learning and enhancing my knowledge and understanding of strategies and techniques to help them along on their individual paths to success. I continue to find it rewarding to equip and encourage my students to strive to reach their fullest potential.
