Hi! My name is Anne Malig and I am a reading interventionist for the School District of Reedsburg. I am so excited to share my love for learning and literacy with the students of Prairie Ridge Intermediate School.
I have been teaching in Reedsburg since 2016. My twenty-five years of teaching experience spans from kindergarten to sixth grade. I hold licenses as an Elementary Educator, Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist. I love learning and teaching reading so much that I completed my Master’s Degree in Literacy & Reading Specialist license from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in December 2017.
I make a difference by teaching elementary students reading intervention. Some students find reading difficult so I have the unique challenge to figure out how these students best learn and draw out the best in each student. It is my goal to figure out how I will engage the students and help them succeed. I love being a part of the transformative process when a reluctant student blossoms into a successful reader who is excited about learning.
I have three adult children and live with my husband and energetic labradoodle. It is important for me to stay curious and keep learning! My interests include reading, gardening, art, listening to podcasts and music.
