Since 1979, the 5th Graders at Jason Lee Elementary attend a week-long Outdoor Education Camp.
Our Purpose:
•To allow students to learn about science in Nature’s classroom
•Hands-on activities where students are actively involved in learning.
•Building a strong, positive community through our awards program.
•Doing activities we often can not do in the typical classroom

Camp Koinonia -A camp about 20 minutes West of Cle Elum, WA. Located at the base of the Cascade Mountains, Camp Koinonia is surrounded by wilderness and has it's own lake.
When do we go to Camp?

We go to camp in late April or early May, and we take special “yellow stretch limos,” also known as school buses.
