If you answered yes to the questions above you are the perfect candidate to apply for BEAM.

You can fill out the application online or print out a paper copy and drop it off at RSC reception . There are also application forms available at reception now.

Applicants will be screened by a small selection committee and are required to attend an interview and complete mandatory Working with Children Check. Once approved mentors attend a free training program and complete Childsafe modules to assist them to carry out their role.

Ongoing mentor support is provided in order to continue training , de-brief and share experiences.

Mentors will be required to be available for approximately 1 hr per week for the school year and ideally up to two years with the same student.
