NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
NEW to RRHS, or left us for any amount of time
Submit a NEW student registration application on RRPS Registration
Create an account. , once submitted you will not use this account again, a parent power school account will be created by the registrars office.
Once the application is submitted the RRHS registrars office will send you an email to make an appointment to finish the process.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: (please upload but also bring the hard copies for the appointment)
You must have the following documents in order to proceed with registration.:
Birth Certificate
Parent photo ID (parent needs to be present to enroll, ID must match birth certificate)
Proof of Residence must be in parent's name
Current water, gas or electric bill OR
Current lease or rental agreement from a property management
Current mortgage statement OR
Address Verification If you and your student are living with someone else in our district (87124)
Both the parent and home owner must fill out and have notarized this attached address verification, and bring that with the owners utility bill.

7. Transcripts (can be unofficial, current courses and grades if middle of the semester)

TRANSFERS
TO ATTEND RRHS YOU MUST LIVE IN 87124 ZIP CODE
If you and your student do not live in the 87124 zip code and would like to attend RRHS, you will need to submit a transfer application. transfer application
You will recieve an email from RRPS with the decision. IF approved please see the instructions above for NEW students.
If your student currently attends another Rio Rancho school and a transfer is approved to attend RRHS.
please visit that school to disenroll, then email the RRHS registrar for the steps to enroll. WENDY.LOPEZ@RRPS.NET
RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
Every year a returning student registration has to be submitted through the parent power school account for our current students. Reminders will be sent via email when the portal opens.
If your student is dropped from school for any reason mid year you have to provide a current proof of residence to be re enrolled, and may need to speak to the assistant principal/counselor upon return.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT REGISTRATION
Schedule creation after the registrar appointment can take 24-48hours
We wll request official records from your child's previous school
If we need to request records for enrollment purposes this will cause a delay in the schedule creation and start date.
