What is School Nursing?
School nursing, a specialized practice of nursing, protects and promotes student health, facilitates optimal development, and advances academic success. School nurses, grounded in ethical and evidence-based practice, are the leaders who bridge health care and education, provide care coordination, advocate for quality student-centered care, and collaborate to design systems that allow individuals and communities to develop their full potential. Adopted by the NASN Board of Directors February 2017.

- REMINDER: Elementary Students are NOT allowed to self carry ANY medication (including cough drops) at school. Every medication must have a form to accompany it in the Health Office. See the Medication Forms page for more information.

- Please make sure your child has all the Immunizations that are required. If they do not have them, we will contact you.
- If you need health paperwork (such as forms to give to your child's medical provider for Asthma, EpiPen, Seizures, etc.), please go to the Medication Forms to find the form you need.
