SAFE Weekly Update 09/25/2026

Hello Families! It’s amazing to think that September is almost gone already! Next week, the students will be having a few art projects and getting ready for the CAE Fall Carnival. 

October is a busy month. Please ensure you are checking the dates for when students do not have school. We do try to make sure the dates are posted as much in advance as possible. 

October 2nd, 2026 is the Balloons Aloft Event at Cielo Azul. This event starts at 6:00am, the SAFE program will not be available until 6:45am. Students can be dropped off in the SAFE portable. We will not be using the cafeteria for the before school only session due to the event. Parking is NOT ALLOWED IN THE BUS LOT, DROP OFF ONLY. Students will not be taken to the concessions available due to a safety risk. The SAFE program will have an area designated for the SAFE students only on the field. SAFE staff will be with the students at all times. Drop off will end at 8:40am, due to the buses arriving. Please DO NOT ENTER THE BUS LOT AFTER BUSES HAVE STARTED TO ARRIVE! 

October 16th will be the Cielo Azul Fall Carnival. Spread the word to your neighbors! This is a community event, all are welcome to come enjoy the fun! We do need about 5 more volunteers to help with our booths! I would like to have 5th grade students, middle and high school students to help us. Please let me know via email if your older students would like to help! 

Donations of candy, party favors, small toys, etc. are needed for the event. We still need about 10 more empty cereal boxes as well. Please ensure your donations are given by October 10th, 2026. This way, we can ensure we will have enough to get through the entire carnival. 

Quarter 2 nine week payments will be due October 12th,2026. Payment plan information will be sent in about 2 weeks. Billing for the fees will be added to your student’s school cash accounts prior to the due date.

October 2nd CAE Balloons Aloft! 6am start time, SAFE Program Morning session only in the SAFE portable, NO PARKING IN BUS LOT, DROP OFF ONLY. DROP OFF ENDS AT 8:40AM DUE TO THE BUSES ARRIVING! 

October 7th No School/SAFE Elementary School Only, Professional Development Day

October 8th-9th Fall Break, No School/SAFE

October 12th 2nd Quarter SAFE Tuition Due 

October 16th CAE Fall Carnival 5:30-7:30pm, Afternoon SAFE in the portable only, Please do not enter the bus lot until all buses have cleared the area
