SAFE Weekly Update 09/04/2026
Hello SAFE Families! We hope this week has been fantastic! The students have been working hard to transform the walls in the cafeteria into a celebration of autumn! They’ve created fall leaves and apples to hang up. They’ve also created fall trees, which will be in our portable. Next week, we will continue to explore all things fall.
Families, if possible, can you donate empty cereal boxes for a project with our students? We will need about 20 empty boxes to complete this project with the 2nd and 3rd grade groups.
Within the next 2 weeks, we will also be creating hot air balloons out paper mache. THis project is generally started during morning session and continued for a couple weeks due to drying time and painting times. The students will be designing their balloons based on grade levels. Kindergarten will create one, 2nd grade will create two, 3rd grade will create two, 4th grade will do one, and 5th grade will create two. The students will
I know this is a very early notification, BUT the SAFE program will be participating in the Fall Carnival at Cielo Azul October 16th,2026. We do need a little help for this project. Last year, our haunted house was wildly popular, we anticipate it will be a favorite again this year. We would like to have about 10 students participate, the SAFE students in 5th grade, middle school, or high school students as well. We will also need candy or party favor donations for the event. SEPTEMBER 7th,2026 (MONDAY) NO SCHOOL/SAFE Labor Day ALL STUDENTS
SEPTEMBER 8th, 2026 (TUESDAY) NO SCHOOL/SAFE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ONLY If you are on a payment plan, please ensure your payments are received by your due date.
The next 9 week payment will be due October 12,2026. If you will need a payment plan for this time frame, please let me know via email.
Please remind our students NOT TO BRING TOYS OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES TO SCHOOL. This is a district policy. These items MUST BE LEFT in the backpack, turned off.
