Final SAFE Weekly Update 05/22/2026
Hello Families! We’re in the home stretch now. Only 4 more days with our students. This week we were pretty busy celebrating so many milestones for our students. Our 5th grade celebrated their moving on up to 6th grade, all of our students celebrated the end of the school year with a water day, and we all enjoyed snow cones.
The SAFE program will only be operating at the SAFE portable all sessions next week. Students will still be taken to the cafeteria for breakfast, which means drop off will end at 8:30am Tuesday-Friday morning. Tuesday-Thursday afternoon, all students will be collected and moved directly to the SAFE portable at dismissal. MAY 29th,2026 is the last day of school. This will be a ½ day, with dismissal being at NOON. The SAFE program will be available for the BEFORE SCHOOL SESSION ONLY, AFTERNOON SESSION IS CANCELLED!
SAFE registration is available now through the summer. If you have not registered for next school year for the SAFE program, we do have limited spots available and they are first come, first serve. Remember, this is a separate process from regular school registration. Students MUST BE REGISTERED for school to attend the SAFE program. IF you are leaving RRPS, please speak with the front office about disenrollment. IF you are leaving Cielo Azul, again, please speak to the front office for a transfer.
The school district will not be using the REMIND app next school year. When we return to school in August, the SAFE program will be using Class Dojo for communication as well as emails.
IF you have any remaining balances for SAFE tuition or registration fees that are unpaid, your student will not be able to attend the SAFE program or register until all fees are paid in full.
There will be staff changes for the next school year. Ms. Stephanie will be leaving to pursue a different career and Ms. Makayla will be adventuring to another state to attend her college of choice. We will miss these two terrific staff members greatly. Students will be allowed to write letters next year to Ms. Makayla, we will have a Ms. Makayla mailbox available for them to drop letters in, once a week, the letters will be mailed to Ms. Makayla. When replies are received, students will be given the letters.
May 25, 2026 No School/SAFE, Memorial Day
Thank you for supporting our SAFE program throughout the school year. We look forward to seeing so many of our students returning to school in August. May everyone have a relaxing and fun filled summer break!
