If you're looking for Mrs. Woosley you can find her inside the Kensington Intermediate School Library. She says that it is her favorite place to be!
Mrs. Woosley loves to share her passion for reading and building personal connections with KIS students is at the top of her list. She understands how matching a student’s interests with books can expand their desire to read and learn new things. Using books along with activities shows students how to utilize the Library’s resources to complement their studies in other classes. She loves when students share fun facts about what they are learning in the Library with one another, showing that learning in the library can be fun.
Mrs. Woosley is inspired by eager student’s strong desire to learn and being surrounded by a wonderful student-centered staff of educators. Her hope is that students coming to the library have learned something new, found a good book and have had fun doing it.
Margaret Fuller said “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader", and that is a philosophy Mrs. Woosley likes to adhere too.
When not at school, Mrs. Woosley can be found reading and spending time with her husband, son and daughter. She also enjoys baking, cooking, and relaxing with her cat.
