Meet Mrs. Cooke

I am excited to begin my 13th year teaching for the Rocky River City School System. I have a total of 15 years teaching experience! I completed my Masters in Educational Literacy from Baldwin Wallace University. I attended Ashland University for my Undergraduate degree where I also played college soccer. I love all types of sports and still enjoy watching and playing them. I believe in developing a classroom environment where students feel safe and comfortable so they are willing to try new things and make mistakes in order to reach new levels of learning. I have high behavioral and academic expectations for my students. I expect all third graders to become independent learners by the end of the school year. Some of my favorite activities for the classroom include; reading aloud to my students, book clubs, math stations, creating math games for my students, and so much more!
