About me

I love teaching 5th grade! I have been teaching 5th grade at Garfield Elementary since 2007.  Prior to joining GES, I taught for seven years at Paul Revere Elementary.  I taught 6th grade at the elementary level for four years and for three years I taught 4th grade. My experiences teaching grades 4 and 6 have provided me with a  unique perspective. I know what foundational skills my students should have entering 5th grade and I am acutely aware of what content and skills my students need to be successful when they enter middle school.
