Class Overview

Welcome to Speech! Speech is designed to introduce the fundamentals of public speaking and build confidence. You will be introduced to and practice various aspects of speaking, including informative and persuasive speaking. You will also practice various styles of speech preparation, and you will distinguish between varied tones, audiences, and vocabulary. Lastly, you'll learn about effective communication, active listening, and you will hone your abilities to offer constructive criticism.
