Hi! I'm Stephanie Waterman, Rapides High School Choral Director. I grew up in Leesville, LA, and graduated from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Music Education.
I grew up singing in choirs and playing the piano, and from those experiences I developed a deep love of choral music and its power. I love how music transforms a group of people into a family. I'm honored to facilitate this experience for my students and to challenge them to grow creatively!
I live in Alexandria with my son, two dogs, and two cats. I also love other creative arts like poetry and theatre, and in my free time I co-lead a community improv group called Improvocations.
Mighty Mustangs have P.R.I.D.E.!
