Pineville High is fortunate to have a variety of resources at your disposal to use. We have over 16,000 books and publications, computers to use and make copies as needed, as well as a variety of games & puzzles. Most of all, we encourage reading.

DESTINY

  • Destiny is a computerized card catalog that allows anyone to locate books in our library collection. It provides students with descriptions of the books ranging from book summaries to Accelerated Reader and Lexile levels.

  • Books can be searched from the tab Library Search by keyword, title, author, subject, genre, or series.

  • Destiny will also provide information about whether the book is available or checked-out.

  • Click on the icon, choose Pineville High School to reach the search site.

  • In the Search bar type the genre of the kind of book you are interested in reading (ie: mystery, sports, adventure), title or favorite author.

  • Click on details to find out more information about the book.

  • Check out Destiny Discover on the left side of the page to find and save favorite books. This is the perfect place to save materials you are using for research.

AR AND STAR TESTS

  • This site will take you to Clever to reach Renaissance, which leads you to AR and STAR tests.

  • AR tests are password protected and will be monitored by your English teacher or in the library.

  • Star tests are given through your English class.

  • Click on the Clever logo to sign in, then scroll to Renaissance logo.

RAPIDES PARISH LIBRARY

This site will give you many resources including obtaining a library card, free ebooks, etc. Libby helps browse for library books.

The resources at the CLTCC Library are available for Dual Enrollment students.

The CLTCC Library provides all its resources electronically through the CLTCC Library Website. Database titles are identified on the A-Z Databases page. A brief annotation describes the content of each database. There are over 100,000 electronic periodical titles, 32,766 eBook titles, images, and videos available for student, faculty, and staff use. These titles can be found through the CLTCC Library Website homepage by using the Database tab and selecting an option from the drop-down menu of available databases.
