July 23, 2025 Update: Phase II for Carter C. Raymond is currently in the design phase with architectural being 95% complete, civil and mechanical at 64%. Anticipating completion of plans & specs late August 2025 with release and advertising shortly thereafter.

Improvements for Carter C. Raymond Junior High:
Remove abandoned buildings and construct new youth baseball field and soccer field with dugouts, bleachers, field lighting, and fencing.
Construct new 38 car parking expansion.
Construct new walking track.
Construct new bus pavilion and maintenance shot for activity bus.
Expand playground equipment.
Replace sign with new message LED pylon sign.
Update kitchen equipment in cafeteria.
Update lighting and controls throughout building.
Enhance building entry with security vestibule that has a remote lock and intercom.
Renovate finishes and replace fixtures in student restrooms.
Update interior ceiling, wall, and floor finishes.
Carter C. Raymond's campus has abandoned buildings that no longer serve its students. These buildings would be removed to make space for a sports complex. In the grassy area on the playground, a walking track would be installed for all students to enjoy during P.E. or recess.
