A little about me!
My name is Susan Hill. I am a Kindergarten teacher, wife of 19 years, boy mom, band mom, crazy beagle mom, and grad student at the University of Arkansas. I grew up in the Ozark Mountains just north of Harrison, Arkansas. My family and I spent a lot of time traveling the United States and Canada. We backpacked, camped, canoed, and explored a majority of the National Parks including the Buffalo National Forest. My parents installed in me the never give up attitude due to some of the experiences we encountered during those adventures. In 1990 at the age of 18, I lived for three months in Denmark. Talk about culture shock and learning to grow up quickly. In 1995, I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BSE in Early Childhood Education. Kindergarten has been my greatest experience. Every day holds a new chaotic adventure. I enjoy getting up everyday and going to work so that I can see their enthusiasm for life and learning. Currently, I am enrolled in my second semester of the Educational Technology Masters program at the University of Arkansas.
I am taking part in the ETEC 5303 Teaching with Tech graduate masters class at the University of Arkansas. I will be posting discussions and assignments throughout the rest of this course onto this site. The content or topics may be related to the various things that I am learning and researching.
