"The Classic"
We are glad to announce that The Classic is returning to David Gates Stadium and to our hearts for the 2024 season. The 14th Annual War Eagle Classic Marching Band Competition is set to take place on Saturday, October 12th, 2024. We are excited to be hosting our Annual Marching Competition this year. We hope to see you all there!

Welcome to "The Classic"
We are pleased to invite you and your students to the 14th Annual War Eagle Classic Marching Band Competition, taking place at Heritage High School’s Gates Stadium, Rogers, Arkansas, October 12th, 2024! The deadline for registration is September 20, 2024.
Our facility boasts a great turf field, ample paved parking, and nearby warm-up areas, including a lined, indoor turf field house venue. Stadium seating is available in three levels. Pit equipment and props can temporarily be stored on the track for on and off field convenience.
Adjudication
Preliminary Competition
The preliminary competition will be by class with performance times based on wind/percussion size and allowances for distance from contest site. Judges will score for Outstanding Music, Visual, General Effect, Auxiliary, Percussion, Outstanding Soloist, and Drum Major. Prelim trophies will be awarded to the top three bands in each class in each of the aforementioned categories.
Finals Competition
Finalist bands will include the top ten bands from the preliminary competition, regardless of class. Trophies will be awarded to all finalists, as well as for the top scores in Outstanding Music, Visual, General Affect, Auxiliary, Percussion, Outstanding Soloist, and Drum Major.

Our band parents are already hard at work preparing to bring you and your band a well organized event. We hope you will schedule the War Eagle Classic into your competition schedule this year and for years to come! You may register via the Google Form. The entry fee is $200:
