Wind Ensemble

The Wind Ensemble is the varsity band at Rogers Heritage High School. Being the premier band, membership in this ensemble is by audition only. This ensemble meets in the spring semester and learns and performs various advanced repertoire of all genres of wind literature. Students in the Wind Ensemble are expected and required to take on additional responsibilities outside of regular concert band such as, but not limited to: 

• Auditioning for the All-Region bands 

• Participating in the Symphony Orchestra 

• Performing at the Music Appreciation in Rogers Schools (MARS) Concert.

For students wishing to become apart of the Wind Ensemble, additional consideration when auditioning will be given to those who participate in the Fall Volunteer Wind Ensemble.
