UNIVERSAL GOALS

By the end of 2023-24 school year, we will reach the following percentages:

Middle School On-Track

SY 21-22=72%

SY 22-23=77%

SY 23-24=82%

STUDENT GROWTH GOALS (aligned to building goals)

1. By the end of the 1st semester of the 22-23 SY, Flinn Middle School will achieve a universal building goal of 77% on-track status for all students.

• Develop common grading practices for all content areas (tech/philosophy)

• Using advisory weekly for grade monitoring (students)

• What will teachers do? Actionable items for teachers?

2. Between the 1st and 2nd Panorama Survey of the 22-23 SY, Flinn Middle School will increase Sense of Belonging of students from 39% to 60%.

• Flinn Middle School students will increase their student growth goals met by 5% in the areas of ELA from the 2022 winter to 2023 winter NWEA MAP assessment.

FSA's

*All teachers will conduct FSA's 3x's/year (All subject areas)

• FSA's will include (Read grade level text, student questioning, DOK level 2 & 3 teacher questioning-develop monitoring tool,

• How well is this being done? How does this tie into IAR prep.

• Measurements: Results of FSA's, benchmarks (85% completion rate for all teachers)

• FSA1

• Schedule for FSA's to be given-CIL's (Completed)

• Communication Plan for CIL's/teachers (Monthly CIL meeting-progress monitoring)

• Flinn Middle School students will increase their student growth goals met by 5% in the areas of Math from the 2022 winter to 2023 winter NWEA MAP assessment.

• Using monitoring tool previously used to measure quality/rigor

• Communication Plan for CIL's/teachers

• Measurements: Results of Number Talks, benchmarks (10/13/22)

  • 5^th Hour Scanlon 109: scores of 1/2/3 = average of 2

  • 6^th Hour Phommachanh 218: scores of 2/3/4 = average of 3

  • 7^th Hour Johnson 209: scores of 3/3/4 = average of 3.33
