Piper Lee has over twenty-six years’ experience in education, including teaching, administration, instructional coaching, and professional learning facilitation. Most recently, Piper has worked with large districts as a leadership coach for superintendents and principals as they drive systemic improvements around effective practices in teaching and learning that support growth and achievement for all students.
Her passion for student and adult learning, student engagement, improving effective teacher instruction, and student success in learning ignited her pursuit and completion of her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and then Education Leadership Certificate and License from Winona State University.
Over the course of her career, Piper has served students, teachers, families, undergraduate students, as well as district leadership teams, as an educational partner. Piper is experienced in the development and facilitation of workshops and professional development for teachers and administrators, focused on improving student outcomes.
Piper worked closely with state and national level learning collaborative groups, including American Reading, to help districts develop, implement, and maintain English Language Arts (ELA) instruction in K-12 settings. She has worked closely with teachers, administrators, district, and state leaders to identify and support key metrics in ELA. While partnering with leaders across the country, Piper has learned and lived with the philosophy that rigorous relationships help to create transformative schools and impact every aspect of our lives. Piper believes that leading with vulnerability and wholeheartedly allows leaders, teachers, and students to transform their cultures and establish curiosity, creativity and empowers individuals to work collectively, and collaboratively.
