Dr. Kimberlee Hixon

Dr. Kimberlee Hixon is a master teacher with 27 years of experience teaching Prekindergarten through 8th grade. Her experience includes teaching multiple Special Education classes and specializing in providing effective education for English Language Learners. She earned her Masters degree in Educational Leadership and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Instruction. She has worked closely with many novice teachers in the CCSD Onboarding Department as a Mentor Teacher and instructor. She also enjoys working with adults new to the field of teaching in ARL programs. Currently, Dr. Hixon’s joy of teaching comes from working with the youngest learners and providing them with the greatest foundation possible for a life of successful learning.
