Ben Koch is the Middle School Principal at the The Adelson School and Co-Director of the Southern Nevada Writing Project (SNWP). Originally from Tremont, Illinois, Ben earned his Bachelor of Arts from Bradley University and then moved to Las Vegas as a Teach for America 2010 Corps Member. In 2012, Ben earned his Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Since then, Ben has been dedicated to the education of middle-level students as both instructor and administrator. Additionally, he develops and delivers high-quality literacy and writing instruction professional development with the Southern Nevada Writing Project, the local affiliate of the National Writing Project. He supports local SNWP work on the College, Career, and Community Writers Program (C3WP) and as an instructor of the Writing Institute.
