Mannok – formerly Quinn Building Products until a 2020 rebrand – has now expanded its bagged cement range with the introduction of Mannok Ultra White Cement, the first product manufactured by Çimsa and sold under the Mannok brand.
It is produced at Çimsa’s Mersin cement factory in Turkey and being marketed as a premium product with exceptional whiteness, smooth uniform finish and high strength.
Mannok chief executive Dara O’Reilly said: “We are delighted to add Mannok Ultra White Cement to our extensive range of premium building products. RAK White Cement reported a net profit of AED 9.4 million for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, with revenues totaling AED 67.7 million during the same period.
For the first nine months of 2024, the company achieved a net profit of AED 28.5 million, a significant increase from AED 10.41 million in the same period of 2023.

Ireland-based Mannok Cement are introducing Ultra White Cement, the first product manufactured and supplied by the company's new associate, Çimsa Çimento Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS. The new cement will be for sale under the Mannok brand. Ultra White Cement is produced at Çimsa's Mersin plant in Türkiye.
In August 2024 Çimsa acquired Mannok in a EUR 330m deal as part of a broader strategy to transition to a building materials company and from local to global producer. The Türkiye-headquartered company aims to generate 70 per cent of its revenue in foreign currency.

Titan Cement International SA has announced a definitive agreement to divest its 75 per cent share in Adocim Cimento Beton Sanayi ve Ticaret AS, comprising cement assets located in the eastern region of Türkiye, 50 per cent share to Mugla Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS and 25 per cent to Yurt Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS.
Following this transaction, Titan will receive total cash proceeds of US$87.5m. This transaction represents a strategic move aligned with Titan group’s long-term growth objectives in Türkiye.

Dangote Cement Plc reported a 62.2% increase in its group revenue to NGN 3.58 trillion in 2024. Group volumes edged up by 1.6% YoY to 27.708 Mt, as Nigerian volumes rose 7.9% to 17.7 Mt, and exports of cement and clinker from Nigeria surged 69.1% to 1.2 Mt.
