Roxbury School District will be holding the annual Get TECH-cited Summer Professional Development Workshops on August 15th, 16th and 17th at RHS from 8:30am - 3pm. Participants are asked to choose ONE DAY to attend. The same content will be reviewed each day and is not grade specific. Due to the nature of the workshops, we will not be able to accommodate 1/2 day registrations. Registration begins at 8:00 in the Media Center with the opening session starting at 8:30am. The day will be filled with a selection of engaging and informative workshops and will wrap-up at 3pm. Each participant will be compensated $100 for attending the full day workshop. How to register:
Choose ONE day to attend: Tuesday, August 15th -OR- Wednesday, August 16th
-OR- Thursday, August 17thReview the sessions offered. (Course descriptions are shared below) You must choose TWO of the four sessions
How to prepare for the workshops:
Each participant is required to bring 1 or 2 lesson plans that they hope to enhance for the 2017-18 school year (digital format) There will be a 'design time' where you can take what you have learned throughout the morning and apply it to one of your specific lessons. Our day will conclude with presentations from participants of what was created so we can inspire each other.
