Music Boosters
Music Boosters: Who, What, and
Why
Music Boosters are proud parents of current ROWVA music students; ROWVA Marching Tiger/Band
Alumni; and Friends of ROWVA Music programs.
What do we do?
Boosters work together to
support and coordinate
details of performances, raise
funds for all kinds of musical
essentials and extras, and
generally encourage the
importance of music in our
small rural school.

We invite everyone to attend
our monthly meetings to
discuss activities, events,
purchases, and more. We
would love more input!
Fundraising Update
Boosters have contacted
businesses for sponsorships to
help fund meals on competition
days. Our goal is $2000. (If you
are new to marching band,
Boosters arrange meals for all
band members at competitions.
Sponsors are listed on the back
of our show shirts and
announced at all home football
games.)
Blingo Bingo with the Band was
a huge success in March 2023,
so we will be repeating this
event in March 2024.
Boosters will be arranging a
Mrs. Fields Cookie Dough
fundraiser before the holidays,
so stay tuned!
Funds raised in the past year
provided meals, snacks, color
guard flags, marching band
supplies, and more.
Current Needs:
We always need trailer towers
for competitions! See the
schedule listed here, and
check with Mr. Anderson to
see which dates are available.
Coordination of meals and
snacks for marching band
season.
Input on future purchases.
Recent Expenses:
Boosters just funded Smith
Walbridge Clinics for our Drum
Majors. ($1190)
Boosters purchased Snare and
Quad drum harnesses,
adjustable, to fit a variety of
body types and heights.
($2000)
