In stage 4, we should have researched where we should hike and how we should travel to those places.
You will be creating a hiking plan. The plan will need to locate the trail head- and the field station campsites. Field station campsites are where you will rest, eat, and use as base camps for data collection. the expeditions will be 7 days long. Plan for hiking and set up for 6 camps on the first 6 days and hike back to the trail head on the 7th day.
Use Google maps to help make logistic plans for this days.- Miles/day- elevation. The Rain forest will be divided into 4 quadrants and you need to plan a stay in each quadrant at least one night.
One campsite must be near the river to collect data on the fish species.
The last campsite has to be 10 miles or less from the trail head.
The longitude and the latitude should know for each campsite for emergency purposes.
This hiking plan is a team effort. The team will decide how to present the final information.
One member of the team must create a calendar and share the dates and locations with the team members in Google Calendar. The campsite information can be added to a section in your "Field Journal.
