POSITIVE CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR SUPPORT (PCBS) Teacher Academy

Positive Classroom Behavior Supports (PCBS) - Training designed to support the implementation of positive and proactive behavior support practices in all classroom environments (secondary, elementary, specials), providing academic and behavioral benefits for every student. Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is grounded in the science of applied behavior analysis.

The PCBS Teacher Academy will be held virtually through Zoom

The purpose of a CoP is to provide a way for practitioners to share tips and best practices, ask questions of their colleagues, and provide support for each other. School teams will send at least one member of their PBIS team to have district-wide conversations focused around Tier 1, 2, and 3 PBIS practices.

School Teams will be able to schedule planning time through out the year. Students Services will pay for up to 10 hours of timecard per site. (Ex: 2 teachers for 5 hours each; 3 teachers for 3 hours each)
