I believe being a therapist is more than something I do; it’s my calling. I feel privileged to work with others and help create a safe space for someone to explore painful parts of themselves, their past, or the stress of dealing with living. I believe therapy is a transformative experience that brings hope and healing to someone's life. I have had my struggles and my painful past trauma. I have been in therapy, and I believe this makes me a better therapist. I have worked in several settings, from behavioral health care hospitals to outpatient clinics and working with court-appointed clients. I spent many years as a therapist working with an outpatient agency and an organization that focused on LGBTQIA adults and teens. I have been thankful to have all these experiences and to offer my learned experiences to my clients.
