Mission of the Rowan Student Chapter
The purpose of the Rowan University Student Chapter of NOBCChE is to increase the participation of people of color in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, biomedical sciences, and other disciplines through diverse programming. The organization will also provide other opportunities designed to foster scholarship, encourage research innovation, facilitate collaboration, volunteer through outreach activities, and provide resources for career and professional development. This chapter also intends to impact the national view of scientists by working within the local South Jersey community. This chapter welcomes a diverse group of members from all disciplines to join and grow in STEM.
