The Chairman oversees everything that happens in the Table. Leading business meetings, setting the agenda for the year ahead and supporting each role in order to achieve the agreed goals for the year. The Chairman is often the connecting point between Tables and liaises with them regarding joint events, both locally and internationally.
The Vice-Chairman is there to support the Chairman in his goals and vision for the Table. At the end of the Chairman's tenure, the Vice-Chair is his successor.
Vice-Chairman assists the Development Officer with identifying community projects to assist or raise money for.
At the end of the year, the Vice-Chair must select who he would like in the committee roles, in order to best achieve his goals for the year.
To take minutes at each meeting and completing any admin required such as license requirements. Also to update member details on our online portal.
Controls the Tables finances, ensuring all membership fees are paid, alongside any outstanding invoices. The Treasurer keeps the budgetting for the year.
To identify areas within the community that may benefit from Round Table assistance, whether it via voluntary hours or through fundraising activities.
To help prospective members settle in to the group, whilst also liaising with the Programme Officer to encourage new memberships.
To organise the diary and schedule of activities for the group to do. This comes from liaising with the Chairman & Vice-Chair around their goals for the year. To promote the upcoming events and activities via social media channels and work alongside the Membership officer to create an encouraging environment for new members of all backgrounds.
