The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.The FAFSA is now live. It is recommended to have your FAFSA completed by March 15th (the sooner the better).
FAFSA is for US Citizens and approved non citizens (please check the website if you are approved). If you are not a US citizen, you will need to complete the TASFA instead. A student only completes 1 or the other, not both!
The paper TASFA is now live. There is only a paper option as of now. You will need to print out the application and request a copy of your parents 2022 tax transcript. Both documents will need to be sent directly to every college in Texas you apply to.

FAFSA or TASFA completion is now a requirement for graduation!
Westwood every year publishes all the scholarships you are awarded. So for example, if you apply to 5 schools and they all award you a scholarship, then we want to know all 5! You have worked hard over the past 4 years and this is now the time we get to brag about you. So please, email Mrs Browning your award letters. If the college mailed you a letter stating your scholarship, just take a picture of it and send. If they emailed you your scholarship, just forward it... holly_browning@roundrockisd.org.
Also, if you earn scholarships from other places beside colleges, let us know about those too...we want to publish them all!
All scholarships will be published in the Senior Awards Night Program. This souvenir will probably end up in your memory box for years to come so please get them turned in so they can make it in there. SEND TO MRS BROWNING by April 1st!
Mrs. Browning will email this to your student email address on April 1st. Make sure you fill out both. If you complete by May 1st you are entered into a raffle for prizes . By completing both surveys, we will then send your final transcript to your college for free automatically. College emblem will be pre-drawn on the college banner based on your answer as well. Hello seniors of Round Rock ISD and congratulations on your upcoming graduation! The Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) would like to take this opportunity to talk to you about the Texas Immunization Registry.
Many students have their immunization records currently stored in the Texas Immunization Registry, ImmTrac2. Although your parent or guardian may have consented for your records to be stored in this confidential, electronic database, state law in Texas requires that when you turn 18, you must consent for yourself as an adult.
Now that you are an adult, we recommend that you sign that adult consent form and consent yourself to the registry. If adult consent is NOT obtained, your immunization record will be removed from ImmTrac2 on your 26th birthday and will no longer be accessible should you need it to enroll in college, military enlistment, employment in the healthcare field, or travel.
To maintain your immunization records in the registry, we recommend you follow the link below, and complete an Adult Consent Form. Please send completed forms to immadv@wilco.org (add confidential in the subject line).
Adult Consent Form, available in English and Spanish
