Welcome to ESOL I. Our purpose in this class is to develop listening, speaking, writing and reading skills in speakers of languages other than English. We will help you with pronunciation, increase listening and reading comprehension, and write comprehensibly in English. The class will also help you appreciate the different genres of literature, and explore how and why authors write as they do with the end goal being that you too can confidently express yourself both verbally and in writing.
