ASL Club

Welcome to the ASL Club! Here we will have events to celebrate American Sign Language and Deaf culture. Below you will see the officers of our club as well as our meeting time and calendar of events. We hope to see you at one of our events soon!

We like to teach very basic signs in ASL club for those students who are interested in the language but aren't able to take the class. If you would like to learn more on your own but you are unable to sign up for classes I am available for tutorials everyday before school!

-When are the meetings?

Orange Wednesdays at 4:25 (right after school)

-Can I go to ASL Club if I'm not in ASL class?

Yes! We will be teaching some ASL in ASL Club at every meeting so you will pick up some things that way!

-Can I go to ASL Club if I don't know ASL?

Yes! We welcome everyone into our club! If you want to be a member the only requirement is that you pay your yearly dues.

-Can I talk in ASL Club?

Yes, our meetings you can talk but our events are voice off.

-How much are the dues?

$10 a year, this gains you access to any of our field trips and pays for snacks throughout the year (we try to have snacks at every meeting!).

-If I can't go to meetings how can I participate?

In addition to meetings we also have events such as game night, movie night, potlucks, and silent dinners. All are welcome at our events.
