Welcome to a new and exciting year at Teravista Elementary! I am looking forward to having your child in my classroom.

I would like to take this opportunity to share some things about myself.  After graduating from the University of Texas, I taught Kindergarten for seven years.  When I had my first child, I had the wonderful opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom for a couple of years before returning to Council Oak Preschool for ten years.  As my children got older, I returned back to RRISD and I feel blessed to be at an amazing school doing what I love.  I am married to my husband, Jon, and we have three kids; Sophia, Mason, and Emma.  We also have 2 dogs and a flock of chickens.   We love cheering for our Longhorns (Hook’em!), taking road trips, going to National Parks, volunteering, exercising, gardening, and hanging out with friends and family. 

To see children exploring their world is such a pleasure. I am looking forward to a fun-filled and successful year at Teravista. It is my goal to provide a positive and safe environment for your child to experiment, experience, and enjoy the lifelong journey of learning!
