About Me

Alayna Stoll, ITS

For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of being a teacher! I followed that dream by attending Texas State University and graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught 5th grade for 3 years at Wells Branch Elementary. Before that I spent two years as a math interventionist. As a 5th grade teacher, I had the opportunity to participate in a pilot program for Round Rock ISD as a Next Generation Digital Classroom Trailblazer. My role in the program entailed piloting a 1:1 classroom model using Chromebooks to learn how 21st century learning works and what it looks like. Through this experience, I developed a passion for integrating technology into learning seamlessly, and being able to share with and inspire others through my own experiences. I am currently an Instructional Technology Specialist at Purple Sage Elementary in Round Rock ISD, Texas.

As an Instructional Technology Specialist I am responsible for ensuring each student and teacher at Purple Sage has the tools and support they need to use technology and work as a digital citizen. I am able to support learners and teachers in Pre-K through 5th grade by modeling lessons and resources in the classroom, as well as providing collaborative lesson planning with teachers throughout campus.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, our daughter Penelope, and my 2 precious dogs, Presley and Ella. I also like to watch movies, listen to live music, do arts and crafts, and spend time with friends.

I really believe in the work everyone here at Purple Sage does. I am so excited to start this new adventure and have the privilege of sharing it with you!
