About me

¡Hola! I am Señorita Hernández and I will be teaching Spanish 1B for the 2023-2024 school year. I am originally from Brownsville, Texas which is located “On the border by the sea”. I graduated with my BA in Spanish Translation and Interpreting in 2013. My favorite classes in high school and in college were always my foreign language classes. These classes opened my eyes to the world and instilled in me a sense of curiosity to explore other corners of the earth. As a result of this I decided to teach Spanish. I also taught English abroad in China during the 2018-2019 school year. I am excited to continue teaching Spanish 1B at Hopewell. 

TUTORING SCHEDULE

Mornings: Wednesday's - 7:40 - 8:10 a.m.

Afternoons: Thursday's - 3:45 - 4:15 p.m.

Homework Policy:

I rarely give homework. However, any work not completed during class time will turn into homework unless otherwise stated.
