Visual Arts

at Round Rock High School

The award-winning Round Rock High School Visual Arts Department

consists of 7 Faculty Members and over 900 students who have chosen to study the wide variety of courses our campus offers: from Drawing & Painting to Sculpture, Ceramics & Photography- as well as Advanced Placement college-level courses in Art History, 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional Studio Art.

It is the philosophy of the Round Rock High School Visual Arts Department that rigorous curricular study in the Visual Arts offers students a variety of enrichment activities beyond the academic classroom. This includes student participation in the RRISD Secondary Art Show; Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE); learning through the Round Rock Empty Bowls Festival and an active community exhibitions schedule, alongside numerous other arts events and initiatives.

In Round Rock ISD, the fine arts are more than enrichment, they are a critical component of our graduate profile.
