Homework is collected and/or checked first thing in the morning, on it's due date. Students will be responsible for completing missing assignments during Study Hall. I will contact you if I notice that your child is consistently missing homework.

Language Arts - nightly homework, due the next day (Spelling/Grammar/Book Clubs)
TX History -periodic projects with plenty of advanced notice

We will write assignments in planners daily. It is the student's responsibility to write their assignments in their own planner.

Please check and initial your child's planner nightly. Please, also, feel free to communicate with me by writing in the planner.

Composition Books - When these are sent home for parents to see and/or sign, PLEASE make sure they return to class the following day. We use our composition notebooks daily. Often times, we refer back to previous work.

25 Book Challenge - This is the student's choice and will be completed by the end of the school year. Students are encouraged to read books from a variety of genre.

Google Classroom - There will be periodic announcements there with good websites and student assignments.

***The expectation is that homework will take around 40 minutes a night. If your child is taking much more than that, please contact me.
