Grades & Conferencing
Grades consist of 30% tests and 70% daily work
- 90%-100% - A
- 80%-89% - B
- 70%-79% - C
- Below 70% - Failing
You can check your child's grades at the Home Access Center
Test Retake - Content from tests with grades below 70 will be retaught within 10 days after receiving the first grade. Students will be responsible for completing any assignments missed in class during retests.
Daily Work - If daily work is not completed before the end of the day, it must be turned in the following morning to receive full credit. 9 points will be deducted from assignments that are turned in late.
Progress Reports - 4th week of each quarter
Conferences - I will meet with all families at the end of the first 9 weeks. In addition, I will call additional conferences throughout the year for any student with failing grades. Please also contact me if you would like to meet for a conference. I will be available most Mondays and Fridays during my conference period between 7:50-8:40.
