Coaching Staff

Bio: Coach Mark Cornejo is entering his 10th year of coaching here at Ridgeview Middle School and his fourth year as Campus Athletic Coordinator.  Prior to beginning his teaching and coaching career, Coach Cornejo served as a Combat Medic and retired from the United States Army.  Coach Cornejo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Wayland University and Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from Webster's University.  He is married to his lovely wife JoAnn and they have four beautiful daughters, Kayla, Jenna, Marissa and Amanda.

Bio: Coach Williams is entering her 8th year teaching and coaching at Ridgeview and 10th year overall. Williams attended Texas State receiving a Bachelors in Marketing and lettering in basketball all 4 years. She then received her MEd in Sports Administration from Concordia University. Williams has a passion for sports and passing on her knowledge and love to a younger generation.

Bio: Coach Alvarado is entering her second year at Ridgeview Middle School and 13th year overall. She has taught and coached at every level from elementary to high school.  Coach Alvarado was born and raised in New Jersey where she attended Fairleigh Dickinson University-College at Florham. While pursuing her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Teaching, she played 4 years of collegiate basketball. She is married to her husband Joe, and they have 2 children, Joey and Callie.

Bio: Coach Buhl is entering his 14th year of coaching, and 11th year at Ridgeview. Prior to his coaching career, Coach Buhl graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science. While at Texas A&M University Coach Buhl Lettered in football and track and field for the fighting Texas Aggies. He is married to his lovely wife Andy Buhl and they have three children, Jayton, Jonte' II, and Aria.

Bio: Coach Cassidy has been coaching youth and middle school sports for over 15 years of all levels. Her coaching philosophy is built around developing the fundamentals, motivating to bring out the highest possible individual effort and requiring a team approach from all players. Coach Cassidy focuses on embracing the process of growth, which entails the need to focus on how to get better every day in order to succeed later. This will be her fourth year at Ridgeview. Go Panthers!
