Grading Policy

Total Grade break down:

Assessments & Projects 40%

Daily Assignments 60%

Students are given a small window to get assignments completed. This time frame allows students who miss school or are unable to finish in class enough time to make up the assignment.

What if the window closes before a student completes the assignment?

Student needs to contact teacher to reopen the assignment. After the assignment has been completed, the student needs to email teacher with a screen shot of the results. Their grade will then be updated.

What if my student is absent?

It is the responsibility of the student on the day he/she returns to school to contact each teacher

regarding make-up work and to appear at the time scheduled for any make-up work.

If a student misses more than two consecutive days, he/she will have the same number of days to

complete the make-up work as the number of days he/she was absent.
