Hello Pond Springs Families!
Here are a few reminders from the clinic:
Medication drop off:
If your child has a daily medication, Epinephrine, inhaler, or an as needed medication in the clinic, please make sure you bring it in to the clinic with the appropriate forms. ALL MEDICATIONS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE NURSE'S OFFICE BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WITH THE APPROPRIATE FORMS, AND CANNOT BE SENT IN A STUDENT'S BACKPACK.Immunizations:
All student who are newly enrolled at Round Rock ISD will need to have their immunizations up to date.
RRISD will enforce the state law, and students without complete immunization records will be excluded from school unless they are provisionally enrolled. If you have immunization questions feel free to reach out to the nurse's office.If your student has a fever of 100 degrees or higher, diarrhea, or any other contagious illness they will need to stay home for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of medicine. From the RRISD Health Services Department:
Fever: A child must remain home with fever equal to or > 100.0° F and may only return to school after they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine such as Tylenol or Motrin.
Diarrhea: A child with diarrheal illness must stay home until they are diarrhea-free without the use of diarrheal-suppressing medication for 24 hours.
Covid: If your student has tested positive for Covid-19, please complete the self-reporting form that can be found here to be notified of an appropriate return to school date.

Hello! I'm Bethany Taylor, and I'm the nurse for Pond Springs Elementary. I have been a part of the Round Rock ISD and PSE families since 2023. Nursing is my passion, and I'm a huge fan of your kiddos!! I'm so grateful to be a resource to you, your student, and their teachers.
