Is your child interested in learning about the instruments prior to the Instrument Selection meeting? We hope you were able to make our Instrument Discovery Day that took place on February 9, 2025!
Instrument Selection meetings will be held Saturday, March 29th, in the PRMS Orchestra room. During this time, interested students who have no prior experience will have a chance to try out all of the string instruments and meet the orchestra director. Once you've found the instrument you love the most, we'll get you signed up for the correct orchestra class and give you information about how to get an instrument as well as other useful information about getting started in orchestra.
Please attend according to the following schedule if possible:
9:00 to 10:00 AM Last Name A–J
10:00 to 11:00 AM Last Name K–R
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Last Name S–Z
If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please feel free to come to another block of time. The purpose of staggered meeting times is to ensure that all students receive appropriate attention from Mrs. López so that everyone is matched with the instrument that they love and sized correctly!

Auditions for students with prior playing experience (1+ years) can be scheduled after school hours by appointment between April 8th-19th. Contact Mrs. López to make an appointment. Audition packets will be posted on March 6th. Please complete the Audition Request Form to ensure you receive an audition packet.
