Other Important Information

Please have your child bring a water bottle and a snack everyday.

I will send home folders with important information inside daily. Folders need to be turned in each morning. Please be sure to check this folder out each day and put your initial near that day's date if there's a note about your child's behavior- this is my number one place to communicate with parents about their child.

Try to make time to read with your child. Our goal is to read a minimum of 100 minutes a week (or about 20 minutes each school day).

Students will be given pieces of paper with drawings of paws on them throughout the day for being safe, respectful, and responsible. They will take these paws back to the classroom to hang up on the classroom paw chart. Once we have reached 50 the class will get a reward. These will be referred to as "paw points".

All staff and students will be in one of the four houses. At the end of each 9 weeks we will have an assembly to celebrate one student from each class for being safe, respectful, and responsible and following the student Cougar Commitments.
