Star Student

Your student will have their own Star Student Week! This is when your child gets to bring their own Star Student/All About Me poster to present to the class on the Monday of their week. It can include things such as family and friend pictures, favorite sport/hobby, favorite food and color, places they've traveled, what they want to be when they grow up, etc. It's a way for the class to get to know your child better! The poster can be as elaborate or as simple as your child would like.

The poster will hang up outside our classroom all week. On the Friday of your child's week, they will take home the "class pet" (our stuffed animal, Clover) for the weekend. You can document your adventures with Clover in our Class Pet Journal, and return it to school the following Tuesday where your child can present it to the class. The students love getting to see what Clover did all weekend with the Star Student! 

Please review the Star Student schedule below and make note of your child's week. I will send out a reminder email at the beginning of the month for the students who have their week during that month.
