Meet Mrs. Geronimo
Welcome to First Grade!
My name is Angela Geronimo and I am beyond excited to be teaching first grade this year at Laurel Mountain Elementary! This is my 8th year teaching little minds. I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade, along with certifications in Special Education, English as a Second Language and GT (Gifted and Talented). I am so excited to get the opportunity to spend the year with your child! First grade is a year full of discovery, learning, building relationships, excitement and play!
I am married to my wonderful husband, Anthony and we have a two year old son, Luca! Our beloved fur baby, Bella Mae crossed the rainbow bridge, but her legacy lives on! I am sure you will hear many stories about Anthony, Luca and I in the weeks and months to come! I look forward to the stories your child shares about your family, too! Anthony and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making precious memories with Luca, watching sporting events and exploring new experiences together.
As your child's teacher, my goal is to foster curiosity and a love for learning, in a safe and inclusive setting. I am looking forward to the new and exciting opportunities this year, while incorporating lots of intentional play. Thank you for allowing me to spend this year with your child! I look forward to partnering with you and can't wait to watch your child grow leaps and bounds this year!
