I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and from Concordia University where I earned my Master's degree in education.  I have certifications in teaching (grades 1-6), Reading, English as a Second Language (ESL), Talented and Gifted (TAG), and in Administration.  

 This year will be my 21st year teaching!  I taught 5th grade (13 years), 3rd grade (2 years) and this is my seventh year in 2nd grade.  I have taught at TVE since the school opened and I was honored to be awarded Teravista's very first "Teacher of the Year".  

   I have been married for 24 years to my husband, Jeremy.  We have two children and two dogs. Our son, Ryan, is a Senior at Hutto High School.  Our daughter, Emerson, is an eighth grader at Farley Middle School.  Both of our children attended TVE from Kinder-5th.  Our dogs' names are Saban and Miss Terry.  They are named after the Alabama football coach, Nick Saban, and his wife.  

In my “free” time, I enjoy yoga, reading, playing pinball, and watching college football.  I am a huge Alabama football fan!   ROLL TIDE!
