About Me

I have lived in Round Rock since 1991. I graduated from Round Rock High School in 2002 and then I went to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tx.  I graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education through 4th grade. I have been married to my wonderful firefighter husband, Dylan for 13 years.  We have an 11 year son named Landon and an 9 year old daughter named Avery. I love being a mom! We also have a dog, a beagle, named Daisy.  I enjoy running, working out, reading, baking and icing sugar cookies (a hidden talent I discovered last year that I didn't know I had), getting pedicures, shopping, unsweet tea and hint water.  My Faith, Family and Friends are very important to me. My favorite color is pink and I love anything that sparkles.

I taught Kindergarten for 15 years, I was an interventionist last year and I am so excited for this year teaching Dyslexia.  I actually attended Fern Bluff when I was in 3rd- 5th grade (it opened my 3rd grade year) and my mom taught speech at Fern Bluff for 15 years.  Fern Bluff is like home to me and I am over the moon excited to be able to teach here and have my children attend school at Fern Bluff.

Mission For The Class

In our class, we will be active participants who work and play together. We will be safe, be kind, and be neat! Most importantly we will LEARN every day!
