Students are to use their agenda's daily. They are to log in the book they are reading and the start/stop for pages read. One parent will need to initial in the agenda daily that the reading was completed.
The purpose of homework is to practice and reinforce skills already taught and practiced in the classroom. All students will be required to read 120 minutes a week. Fifth graders could also have an additional 50 minutes of homework every evening (Monday-Thursday). Long and short term projects will be assigned throughout the year.
Read 30 minutes daily and complete assignments (due weekly)
Think through Math (1 lesson per week with passing score)
Daily math homework (due weekly)
Daily science homework (checked daily for completion, due weekly)
Latin/Greek Root Vocabulary Homework (due as assigned)
IStation for Reading (1 lesson per week with passing score)
Work that is assigned at school, but not completed in class is also homework. (due the next day)
